COMPANY RESUME:

O. Guthrie Jeffcoat, Jr., P. E. & L. S. began private practice as a licensed professional civil engineer  and land surveyor in 1976 after graduation with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, after graduate studies and approximately ten years experience in roadway design with the Alabama Department of Transportation and municipal engineering with the Urban Redevelopment Agency of the city of Montgomery, along with being assistant city engineer of the city of Montgomery, Alabama.

 

A staff was assembled with specific areas of expertise to include surveying, design, inspection and construction stake out of public recreational facilities, water and wastewater systems, storm drainage, stormwater runoff permits, streets and highways, residential and commercial subdivision development, flood studies and elevation certificates, feasibility studies, project planning, grant applications, administration, construction administration and inspection, rural land surveys, cellular tower sites, mortgage (closing) surveys, topographical surveys, plats and mapping, perc tests, specially designed alternative sewage disposal systems and other special services such as structural reports and expert witness and reports.  Over the years the company averaged over eight hundred projects per year of various sizes and complexities ranging from the basic lot survey of approximate $250.00 in fees to completed large scale multi-year projects of eight million dollars or more in construction costs such as Wind Creek State Park renovations.

 

The company is staffed with licensed civil engineers, licensed land surveyors, survey crews and office managers.

 

Resources consist of up-to-date conventional surveying equipment, modern electronic distance measuring devices, field vehicles, computer aided drafting, global positioning systems (GPS), etc.
